Holland Cooper have returned after another fantastic show. Not only did we win the Paddy Power best dressed at Cheltenham we had another sell out with our new Tweed and Leather Capes.
We will upload the images of the 'best dressed' competition as soon as we have them through. The suit was the Navy Prince Of Wales Tweed Jacket paired with the matching tweed skirt 'Tally Ho' in navy.

The Cheltenham Festival is one of our favorite events with an electric atmosphere and plenty of familiar faces. We were over whelmed with the amount of people wearing Holland Cooper Tweed Suits and would like to thank all of our loyal customers for yet again turning up in force and supporting us.

Holland Cooper is back from another thriving year at Burghley 2011!

It all started as we left HC HQ on the Wednesday before the

show. Once set up and all looked perfect we headed off to watch Laura Collett in her wonderful HC trot up outfit.

Undoubtedly, Burghley 2011 was a huge success –our limited edition Burghley Hoodie and Bag sold out rapidly within the first few days!

Existing and new customers were lured into the stand, by our fabulous new A/W pieces. Our recognisable customary style and practicality accentuated throughout our collection and was admired by many.
Not only did we have a record show, Laura Collett was once again dressed by Holland C

ooper, wearing our “Tweed Prince of Wales Jacket in Navy” paired with a matching “Shooting Skirt” and embellished “Cap”.
The beautiful Navy and Red colour way made the perfect combination next Laura’s striking Chestnut horse Noble Bestman. To continue with a fabulous year, Laura had an amazing result finishing with a double clear!

Our new Capes were desired by all who came by the stand and remained the favourite throughout the show. Sumptuously trimmed with opulent fabrics, finished with gold buttons and tattersall, the Tweed Cape oozed style and Glamour. The ultimate fashion piece for this season: - structured, tailored, smart and sleek.

BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS TROT UP DAY ..

LAURA COLLET, ZARA PHILLIPS AND HOLLAND COOPER ACTION ......

What an action packed day it has been - not only have we set up our huge stand at Burghley in our usual spot (the lower pavilion RCA tent) we have also dressed Laura Collett once again for the prestigious trot up.

Laura - calm and collected as usual wore the stunning tweed Prince Of Wales jacket in Royal Navy and red with a matching embellished cap and shooting skirt. This looking simply gorgeous and the colour complimented Stevie (Laura's Horse) perfectly ..

Once we raced over to the Lorry park and stables to organize the fitting for Laura we raced back to the trot up area to soak up the atmosphere as the horses are prepped and pampered to look their best for the judges and vets who decide if they are fit to compete.

Amongst other high profile riders Zara Phillips looked understated and relaxed in white jeans and a leather jacket as she held her horse while the last finishing touches were put in place..

What a busy few weeks it has been ........

Not only did Holland Cooper have a record show at the CLA Game Fair hitting a record sales target, we also had a four page editorial in the Luxury German Shooting Magazine 'Grambow,' a fabulous Blog written about us on 'Make it British' and to top it off a long showing of the Prince Of Wales Jacket on BBC3 'Geordie Finishing School' ... what a result!

Once again thank you to all our loyal followers that came and supported us, we could not do it without you!! We signed up yet more lucky people into our fabulous competition to win one of our exclusive Holland Cooper Tweed Jackets for Him or for Her.

The show ran smoothly and the whether was perfect ... ideal shopping temperature!!
Once again it was the Tweed Suits that were selling out in the Ladies section.. we also had our new Ladies Breeks on show that were a huge success!!

For the Men's wear the Tweed Aviator Gilet had a record show with lots sold! We also had alot of our Men's Tweed Wear being worn at the show which was great to see.

The Great York Show, Prince Charles and more ...

Our first time to The Great Yorkshire Show and our first time in the Country Living Tent, with Prince Charles opening the tent and plenty of high profile visitors this was an action packed glamorous country event.

The best seller was the three piece suit in Lavender consisting of a Burghley Skirt, a Poachers Waistcoat and The stunning Tweed Chelsea Coat.

Our new competition allowing our clients to have the chance to Win one of our fabulous Tweed Coats in any color was hugely popular and we already have hundreds signed up in the hope they will be the lucky winner. This amazing prize will be drawn in September.

We are very excited for the CLA Game Fair in Oxford this coming week and I think I am going to investigate the Tatton Park Show at the beginning of the week in Cheshire to see whether this would be suitable for Holland Cooper next year.

SandBanks Polo on the Beach

It has been another action packed weekend of fun. I was invited to the exclusive Amika Sandbanks Polo championships on the Beach.

The weather was glorious and the Polo action packed. It was great to see Ollie Locke have a go at playing polo and good friends Jack and Callie Kidd with their lovely new baby (make sure you look out for the exclusive 'HELLO' article that will be out on Tuesday with Jack and Callie both wearing Holland Cooper). Jamie Morrison was also on fine form looking dashing as ever.

Ollie was with his lovely girlfriend Chloe Green who looked fabulous braving Louboutins on the sand, a girl after my own heart!

The day was spent drinking champagne by the water, it did not feel like we were in the UK at all but more like the South Of France. In the evening the Amika tables were pumping, run by Richard Austen - Rees it was a huge success.

It was also lovely to see Sophie Anderton (supermodel) Ben Duncan (BB Star) and Staurt Phillips (talented celebrity hair stylist), what lovely people to spend the evening with.

Ollie appeared for the after party wearing a Holland Cooper Hoody and white jeans for the ultimate polo chic look ..

Now back to reality in the studio and getting ready to head out with the HC team to the Great Yorkshire Show ... I look forward to seeing you all there in the Country Living tent.

Royal Ascot - Royal Enclosure in Style ...

I have had the most fabulous weekend at Royal Ascot. I was lucky enough to be invited into the Royal Enclosure which was simply fabulous !

The first thing that popped into my mind was what to wear??!!! The dress code is notoriously strict and 'getting it wrong' is not an option! The hunt was on for the perfect dress that fitted the criteria .. sitting on the knee with straps over one inch thick and not too much flesh showing.. ! Once I had found a dress I was happy with I had to choose the shoes .. and as always I went for Louboutin's. Classic and Chic .. sheer elegance.

The dress was a success and I felt very elegant in my chosen outfit. I managed to last for 17 hours in my 7" Louboutins, I think this must be a record for me and my feet are still recovering !!

Luke ( a dear friend) booked a stretch Limo for us packed full of Harrods Hampers and Champagne for the journey as a surprise .. what a treat !

This really is the only way to travel to Ascot !!

This week we have a packed work load, HC HQ are busy packing the trailer for The Royal Highland Show and tomorrow I embark on the long 13 hour drive to Edinburgh with the trailer in tow!

I have made sure my i pod is suitably stocked up with 'Jaguar Skills' mixes to keep us entertained. Thankfully we have DAB radio in the Discovery so we also have one extra on tap!!!

Amika VIP, Ollie Locke and HELLO photo shoot with Jack Kidd

Its been an action packed couple of days ... I have had a fabulous weekend wining and dining with close friends in London. We had a fabulous VIP table at Amika with close friend Ollie Locke and now star in Made in Chelsea.

It was odd to see him with fans clamoring to have photo's with him when I have known him for so long!!! He takes it all in his stride and looks fabulous as always. Ollie and I met at The Royal Agricultural College four years ago where we instantly hit it off - when I decided to leave half way through to set up Holland Cooper Ollie was one of the only people at the college to be right behind me and we spent the first year of the business living together getting the company off the ground .. what fun we had together with many hilarious memories .. its great that now his career has gone off at 100 mph I can dress him in Holland Cooper for these fabulous occasions.

We spent a long afternoon having lunch at Auto Matt London yesterday designing some fabulous limited edition tweed jackets for him to wear on the show and out and about for press events across the country...

The Morrison tweed Jacket is his favorite and we have done these in some amazing colours .. with extravagant sumptuous linings ..watch this space as we will be posting the photos shortly ..

It was great to see him walking down the Kings Road in his favorite embroidered Holland Cooper hoodie!

To top this exciting week off we also had a photo shoot with HELLO magazine dressing Callie and Jack Kidd for their first shoot since the wedding and their beautiful new baby was born .... this will be out in the next three weeks and we will post this on the site as soon as it is published! They are both big fans of Holland Cooper and Callie was the face of Holland Cooper last year - we provided her with the beautiful Chelsea Tweed Coat, Tweed Sporting Jacket and Prince of Wales Tweed Jacket all of which she loved ...

I am looking forward to going to ASCOT this Saturday and I have been lucky enough to be invited into the Royal Enclosure .. I will make sure I update you on this fabulous occasion with all the gossip on Monday!!

The Mad Month of May ...

Well … what a busy month May has been …. And now we are in June already! The HC Team have all been busy focusing on the website which is looking fabulous (even if I say so myself)!

I have been all over the country meeting new clients and looking into exciting new ventures for Holland Cooper… watch this space!

This last weekend was the Hurlingham Mint Polo in The Park .. what fun it was! It was great to see old friends Jamie Morrison, Jack Kidd and Henry Brett all playing well … and Ollie Locke who is now part of ‘Made in Chelsea’ for a long catch up!

The weather was positively sweltering on Saturday reaching highs of 35 degrees and I was relieved that we decided not to take a pitch there this year as most of the exhibitors stood about looking miserable in the grinding heat!

The Veuve Clicquot Tent was buzzing as was the Mahiki Tent …and it was nice to relax out of the mayhem in the VIP area and catch up with all the players!

Unfortunately due to the heat I was unable to wear my favourite HC Chelsea Coat on Saturday.. instead I wore a limited edition Holland Cooper blue suede high waisted pencil skirt and paired this with a lace striped top and matching Louboutin pumps .. however as the rain came down on Sunday Holland Cooper tweed came into its own!

I paired the Angora Chelsea coat with skinny white jeans and Blue suede Louboutin Daffodil Platform Pumps … and girls you will be amazed how comfortable these are, I wore them for 9 hours straight with no aches or pains!!!! The beauty of the Chelsea Coat is how fitted it is and makes you feel super glamorous .. I was stopped several times and complimented which was lovely..

It was great to see lot’s of Holland Cooper being worn from Gilets to flirty Ra Ra skirts … we saw lot’s of the HC lavender tweed being worn .. I think because of the summery colour and the light weight feel to the fabric.

So what’s next? There are so many social events coming up that we are all very excited about; from Wimbledon to Ascot it is all happening! … The big question is what to wear?

Fresh colours teamed with clean cut polo's and frilly ra ra's were to be seen on the runway as Holland Cooper presented there Spring/ Summer range.

Badminton - 2011 The Launch !

The Holland Cooper headquarters have been a hive of activity over the last 3 weeks -

We made launched our exciting new 2011 collection at Badminton Horse Trials in true HC style.
Our luxury stand wowed Holland Cooper fans and onlookers alike. The new images raised eyebrows and the exclusive collection of new jackets sold out!

To top things off, Laura Collett who we are proud to sponsor came 8th at her first Badminton - what a success.

Holland Cooper 2011 photo shoot - Pushing the boundaries for British Fashion

Well what an exciting last week we have had - the HC Headquarters have been flat out with our brand new 2011 photoshoot. This consisted of one day at a studio and one day on location for the lifestyle shots.

The models this year were more gorgeous than ever and the over all look has been the most exciting tweed campaign to date.

The preparation behind a photoshoot is huge. Organising the outfit sequence and what each model is to wear, which accessories to pair with it and creating the scenes for each shot takes weeks of planning.

The culmination resulted in a mixture of both lifestyle and studio shots creating the look for 2011.

Holland Cooper were lucky enough to have fabulous co branding this year to complete our chic clothing including 'Leggets' ostrich shooting accessories, The Fine English Company with amazing furniture and other luxury products, Tyrrell's Crisps and Verve Cliquot . We were also lucky enough to have 6 pedigree wiemaraners dogs for our lifestyle shoot.

We had various scenes laid out to incorporate the different clothing lines we are now running for 2011 including, Polo Men and Women ,Men's Heritage Rugby, Shooting, Racing, Hunting and a purely glamorous lifestyle.

We had fabulous makeup artists and hair stylists for both days to make sure the models were looking perfect at all times.

It has been a jammed packed week with the organisation of the exclusive Holland Cooper photo shoot in full swing. Holland Cooper is being supporting by some of the worlds most exclusive luxury brands to compliment Holland Cooper's flare and style including Verve Cliquot, Le Chameau, Legget's Ostrich, The Fine English Company, Love From Australia and more . It is going to be the most exciting campaign to date revolutionising British Tweed and the way it is viewed. With the new faces of 2011 being unveiled next week the suspense is killing everyone - not long to wait now and you won't be disappointed! Expect English Eccentric, Urban Chic and stunning models in sexed up tweed.

The shoot is going to be undeniably lavish with different types of pedigree dogs, horses and super cars coming from all over the UK.

Our photographer is flying in from New York for the high profile shoot and is sure to cause quite a stir.

On top of this some of the worlds most influential press and bloggers have come over to the UK to soak up everything British in time for the Royal wedding. Supported by 'Visit Britain' they have been exposed to some of the most exciting and exclusive restaurants, hotels, country sports and fashion labels the UK has to offer.

Holland Cooper was lucky enough to be chosen as the brand to represent British design and we were treated to an opulent VIP box at the 02 arena with a lavish spread for supper while I was interviewed by some of the most exciting people in the fashion blogging/press world to learn more about the brand. The following day we were invited to the 'Verta' hotel at the Battersea Helli Pad for the most fabulous breakfast and yet more interviews and Holland Cooper action. All were thrilled with there Holland Cooper goody bags!

What an exciting week it has been at the Cheltenham festival – Holland Cooper took the festival by storm winning best dressed stand for 2011 with a large cash prize, write up and photograph in the newspaper

We drove up from the Holland Cooper headquarters in Suffolk on the Sunday to be ready in plenty of time for set up – with a new member of the team starting and two stands to set up it was going to be hectic! The drive was straight forward and we had a nice hotel waiting for us at the other end, so we had a good night sleep ready for the antics on Monday.

Monday graced us with the sun, which was a godsend as setting up in the rain is less than desirable! The set up took longer than usual as I had to go and set up a stand at the RAC and Gareth was showing Nick ( a new member to the team) the ins and outs of setting the fabulous HC stand up. Six hours later the stand was up and I had completed a successful afternoon selling at the RAC.

Thankfully we were booked into another hotel so after a yummy Indian supper we made our way there to have an early night ready for the busy day ahead.

This was our first Festival as we normally show at the November meeting and so we were unsure what to expect – I were thrilled when hundreds of people started to pour through the doors into the race course. It was clear this is the biggest most prestigious meeting of the year. With clients coming from all over the world we had customers buying Holland Cooper from as far away as Australia. At midday we were presented with ‘best Dressed stand for 2011’ with a large cash prize and picture and write up in the newspaper. I was thrilled, it really makes all the hard work and effort in presenting the stand worth while.

Holland Coopers Twist on tweed went down a storm with our new 'Sporting Jacket's' selling out on the first day! We met some very exciting new contacts (you will have to watch this space) ..

Later on in the week we were also awarded best dressed at Cheltenham – quite a feet to win both of these in one show!! It just shows Holland Coopers style and flare cannot be copied or simulated – we are the orginal brand to take the ‘twee out of tweed.’

Overall it was a brilliant show well done to the HC Team xxx

Moving House and Studio facelift

Holland Cooper has had a very busy few days, I am moving house and the studio is being re decorated - complete ciaos!! The Business is still running like clockwork amongst boxes and decorators!! The exciting new studio will be able to accommodate more people allowing the HC Team to expand.
Orders are coming in thick and fast for Cheltenham with suits being made as we speak. I am excited for our next show, it feels like ages since I have been to a retail show when in reality it has only been three months. So much has happened in this time it feels like an age!
We are calling into Cirencester on our way through to do an exclusive sale and the RAC, something I like to do as it is close to my heart after being there for 2 years!
I always miss the student life when I go back there , I had some great memories and was lucky enough to have my fabulous horse up with me allowing me to ride and compete regularly, something I don't have time to do anymore. The students will be lucky enough to enjoy nearly 50% of everything including trackies, hoodies, polo's, caps, gilets, skirts and more!
We have had an exciting offer to supply the hoodies for the young conservative party, a great opportunity for us and great publicity for Holland Cooper.
The Sandhurst Ball Charity hoodies went down a storm and sold out within minutes, the design we created looked fabulous! Good Work Team!

Scottish Tweed and stolen Phones!

It has been a manic last few days. I decided to go and see my gorgeous boyfriend for the weekend who lives in Scotland and to go and research some new and exciting fabrics. The journey did not go quite as planned and I had my phone stolen on the way up! Nightmare is an understatement - no phone, no emails - complete disconnection!!! Vodafone did manage to provide me with a temporary brick that did not even have predictive text, better than nothing I guess! I decided it would be a good idea to break my new Christian Louboutin's in on Saturday night, what I hadn't bargained on was walking over ten minutes up hill to the nightclub (not advisable in 8 " heels) AGONY but I still love them!
On the upside I spotted four people on the journey up in the fabulous HC Head Cuffs good work Holland Cooper Fans!
I traveled to the infamous Scottish Mills and found some fabulous new fabrics and can see our new designs are coming through looking better than ever - all very exciting! We spent the day in Edinburgh on Friday and I wore the new 'Holland Cooper Cape' which is yet to be released, it coursed quite a stir combined with white jeans and pony skin Louboutin boots for a glam look!
We watched a fast moving Rugby game on Saturday where I donned the 'HC Ski G illet' with matching scarf ...it was so amazingly warm!!

Press, buyers and mayhem

The studio has been flat out over the last few days. I have had a series of important meeting with prospective buyers for the wholesale collection and have been researching new and exciting materials.
I have been in contact with alot of press this week so look out for exciting articles within Horse and Hound, The British Dressage magazine and large spread with The Field and Rural life.
I have found some time for ridingmy wonderful Horse Magic within this hectic scedual, thank god the days are getting lighter and the whether has been slightly kinder!
I am very excitied to be sponsoring Laura Collett again this year who will be riding two horses at Badminton - and where we will be unvieling our new 2011 collection... v exciting! After winning the trot up at Burghley last year with the beautiful Prince of Wales Jacket in Baby Blue and the matching Side Saddle Skirt we hope to do the same again at Badminton!
The production planning is taking up alot of my time at the moment having to juggle so many orders to make sure we keep to our promt delivery dates and get ready for the Cheltenham festival- this involves long hours in front of the computer!!!
Our new sports wear labels came in today which look fabulous - you will be able to see these in our new collection.
WWB buyers magazine used our unique and trendy Lavender sporting Jacket as the Autumn/Winter must have for 2011 - this goes out to all the international buyers over fashion week - what a result!

Things just seem to be getting busier here a HC Headquarters! busy with the new line and managing all the press coverage we're getting at the moment! At the studio we have been busy putting together the new 2011 Holland Cooper collection. Sampling is done, tweeds are picked, and complementing suede's and leathers have been chosen! A lot of time and effort has gone into making sure this is our best collection yet; and continues our mission of combining tweed and high fashion. Our complete collection will officially be launched at Badminton on the 21st of April 2011, both at the show and on our website.

Piece of the Week

If I wasn’t already excited enough about the new s/s collection when the sun shines all day I can almost feel the summer upon us. The sun has certainly lifted everyone spirits and it almost blocks out the sound of the racing embroidery room whizzing out the new ski collection. I’m hoping to escape to the slopes of Saint Foy for a few days next month, so at the very least I can wear the collection in its entirety. Today however I’m sporting a beautiful Lavender HC gilet which brightened my walk in the winter sun with the dogs this morning. That is the thing I love most about our gilets they carry you through every situation. I haven’t taken mine off all day it has kept me warm and stylish from my morning walk through my meetings and working on the new collection. That is why the Holland Cooper Gilet has been nominated as piece of the week.

Let the cutting commence....

Today I will be offline as the production team and I begin hand cutting the new collection. This is an exciting part of the process where I first begin to see my designs transformed from all the sketches and pinned swatches into a finished garment. The designing is by no means over as I’m sure I will be making alterations and change as we go but that is all part of the fun of creating a Holland Cooper collection.
